We recently completed our first project in Western Australia, which was led by Kim Sewell the Manager for Residential Care at Acacia Living Group.

Here you see the first three True Doors with protective perspex kick plates for extra durability against knocks from wheelchairs.

We are thankful to the therapy team for letting us know what a difference the True Doors are making. That the space has been transformed into more of a neighbourhood where people "Walk down the street" and a more homely feeling overall. Residents are walking to their own rooms and have been observed hesitating before going into other's rooms. And that residents have been asking staff to "look at my door" which has been fostering positive conversations.

Below family members of residents share their feedback. If you would like to know more about True Doors, please write to us.
